In the Service of Life

While cleaning up my harddrive I came across an old essay by Rachel Naomi Remen. It was good to reread. Especially after doing someone else's emotional labor earlier today, it was good to be reminded that there those who aim to serve, instead of being so belligerent as to think they can "fix" others.
