Sorry I caught you at a bad time with the religion thing, it had just popped into my head at the time.

And I can respect authority, but only after I've questioned, poked, prodded, cajoled it and pulled at the seams for a good long while. You can thank my mom for that. Questions were never off limits to me as a child, and if I was made to do something I was told why I was doing it. The only rules she has are ones for safety, and since I like being alive I've never had a problem following them. I've always been the best decision-maker, the most honest, and I have more backbone than a giraffe, so she trusts me. The rewards for this have been that I can look like a freak and go or do anything within reason, and she gets a daughter that'll tell her anything she can ask.

And you already know my opinions on the insanity issue. I'm not going anywhere unless you're wielding a chainsaw or a tarantula (or a tarantula with a chainsaw). Besides, if I turned away from everyone who wasn't conventionally sane, I'd have no friends and no family.
