Oy. I met someone this past weekend who reminded me of you, but it was extremely insubstantial. So in some intangible ineffable way, you have kin in Cape Town.
(So, counterfactually, if I'd never have met you, how differently would I have responded to/interpreted this person in Cape Town?)
