Well, part of the reason for going for the CS PhD instead of just an MS is in case I ever want to teach this stuff. I mean, if I ended up going into industry instead of the professor route, then ma~ybe it might matter there, but not likely I don't think. The question then is: do I ever want to teach this stuff? To which I'm still not sure.
