Yeah, I was looking into that last night. The tricky part isn't just getting enough protein, it's also reducing carbs (cf., this study). Most of the stuff online focuses only on increasing intake rather than balancing; so many of the sources people mention (e.g., lentils, beans, quinoa) are actually in the 2::1 to 5::1 range. The 2::1 and 3::1 options are pretty good, just so long as I add enough tempeh, tofu, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, etc in order to keep it balanced.
The more I think about it, the more I think it's doable; it's just something I haven't worried much about before. But after one day of the new diet I'm already feeling a lot more energetic. Now, to keep it up :)
