This fall I moved out to Bloomington Indiana to start a PhD program in cognitive science (minor/dual computational linguistics). Alicia moved here with me along with our two cats. She's doing prepress at the local newspaper. I'm still getting settled in here, but I've started work on language generation with XDG (http://www.ps.uni-sb.de/~rade/xdg.html) along with oniugnip.
The previous couple years I was living in Baltimore Maryland. I finished my MSE in computer science (specializing in computational linguistics and programming languages) at Johns Hopkins a year back. My thesis was on typed unification systems for logic programming, and since graduating I've been working on the Joshua (http://joshua.sourceforge.net/) toolkit for statistical machine translation.
